Your invitation.
When your invitation arrives, come into my garden to meet your new dog. Choose him, give him a name, and bring him home.
Applying is free and does not reserve a dog.
The dog is yours.
The value is yours to decide.
After adoption, you have one day to pay Wubbushi the value you choose. Your valuation becomes part of the artwork.
Before your invitation
Apply with your X handle and Ethereum address, or ask for help with a wallet. Make a wishlist and find an eligible owner to vouch for you. Wubbushi reviews each application personally.
One direct adoption per person, ever. Selling or a change in your dog’s life does not give you another. This limit does not cover secondary purchases.
Choosing and naming your dog saves your selection. Adoption follows separately; the one-day valuation window begins at the successful mint timestamp. Payment details appear on your dog’s page.
If you sell your living dog
Selling a living dog normally kills it. It returns as a zombie. On its first resale only, it has a 1 in 20 chance to resist and become immortal instead. Adoption itself does not trigger this.
Any move to another wallet counts as a sale, even a gift. Before your dog is sent, you can add one second wallet of your own, such as a hardware wallet. Moving your dog between those two wallets is not a sale.
Each new zombie has a 50% chance to infect one other living dog. Each newly infected dog gets the same chance. The original seller’s X handle, sale and each generation of infection are permanently recorded on every affected dog.
Each immortal rescues one infection-created zombie, and receives a new background and one of five powers. A dog turned into a zombie by a sale cannot be rescued.
If your dog goes to heaven
If your dog lives his full natural life and goes to heaven, you win. He becomes an angel. You can keep him or trade him freely, with no guilt. You were a good dog owner, for a good dog.
Every eligible living dog has a 1 in 1,600 chance of natural death each day (0.0625%). His lifespan and cause of death stay in the record. Natural death and trading an angel do not spread infection.
Your dog’s record
His name, your X handle, who vouched for you, his adoption date and your valuation stay with him. Every change in his life is added to the record. Rescue never erases an infection; his original artwork reference stays too.
