The terms of a good home.

These terms apply when you use alldogs.wtf, join the waitlist, adopt a dog or own one. By doing any of these, you agree to them. The rules explain how adoption and the collection's game work; they are part of these terms. Our privacy page explains how we handle your information. Questions go to wubbushi@alldogs.wtf.

Who can take part

You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. Use your own X account and your own wallets, and give us accurate information. Adoption is by invitation, and Wubbushi decides who is invited. Each person may adopt directly once; trying to adopt again through another account or identity can cancel an invitation or adoption.

What you own

Each dog is a one-of-one NFT on Ethereum. The NFT belongs to whoever holds it in their wallet. Wubbushi keeps the copyright in the paintings, the painting code and everything else on this site.

While you hold a dog, you may display it, share images of it for personal, non-commercial purposes, and sell or give away the NFT. Those permissions pass to the next owner with the NFT. You may not use a dog for merchandise or other commercial products, or claim you made it, without Wubbushi's written permission.

A living artwork

A dog's state can change under the rules: it can become a zombie, an angel, or an immortal, and its image and record change with it. Our servers run the game and publish these changes, so they can be delayed while a service is down. We may improve how the game is run and how dogs are shown. Each dog's original adoption record on Ethereum stays as it was minted.

Transfers

Under the rules, moving a living dog to another wallet counts as a sale, even as a gift. Before your dog is sent, you can add one more wallet of your own; moving your dog between those two wallets does not count. Please add only a wallet you control.

Paying for your dog

After your dog is minted, you choose what to pay Wubbushi within one day, and you may choose nothing. The value you choose becomes part of your dog's record. Card payments go through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. ETH payments are final once they are on the blockchain. We don't offer refunds, except where the law or your card network requires one.

Your wallet is yours

You are responsible for your wallets and their keys. We can't recover a lost key, reverse a transfer, or move a dog out of a wallet we don't control. Check every address before you confirm it.

Not an investment

Dogs are artworks and collectibles. We make no promise that a dog will keep or gain value, or that anyone will buy it. Don't adopt a dog as a financial investment.

Fair use of the site

Don't interfere with the site, the game or other people's dogs, try to get around adoption limits, or use the site to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts or cancel invitations that break these terms. Dogs already on Ethereum stay with their holders.

The fine print

The site and the game are provided as they are. Blockchains, wallets and the services we rely on can fail, and we can't guarantee that alldogs.wtf will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for your dog. Nothing here limits rights that the law says can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the effective date above, and tell people with accounts about significant changes before they apply. Continuing to use All Dogs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
